i write daily
it's what i do
almonds and tamari
baked tofu
dreaming of rose water cookies
the last days of this year
need to make peppermint candy as well
one day at a time
this moment is all i have
no matter what
life goes on
and on i must go for now
holding spaces for my dreams aplenty
i breathe in
i breathe out
courage

where's my carrot?

this past year has been a true challenge
my mantra
where's my carrot???
in other words what the heck am i doing? where's my focus? etc etc etc
today i finally decided as i was driving back from my favorite place to get bagels and java
that i must DECIDE what my carrot is
years back when i was a kid my mother, and best friend kathy and i started a group
we'd meet to make ornaments as well as other crafts
in hopes to make some extra cash
we always met on wednesdays
now years later i still find myself making wednesday a special day
in fact my daughter was born on a wednesday (i mean how much more special is that!!!)
i commit to creating something each wednesday
my hope is i honor who i am at each moment
and honor that i am a spontaneous human being
allowing myself to be just that
so---trust me
i haven't a clue what each wednesday will bring except
that i now have a focus and a plan
and a place to be each week (at least)
i generate all that i need
i have all the energy i need and now i have a platform to share it with
